Invincible (Till The Day We Die) (Festival Mix)

Maddix feat. Michael Jo

Following the successful release of the original mix earlier this month, Maddix has reissued the Festival Mix of ‘Invincible (Till the Day We Die)’ (feat. Michael Jo), which assures to pack more of a punch than its already-acclaimed radio-friendly predecessor. Working with Hardwell’s Revealed since 2015, the mix will be his fourth solo release this year, out next week 30th August.

While the original bares all the big room, progressive hallmarks we’d expect from Maddix, the Festival Mix takes a venture into harder waters. A more ominous build towards the track’s conclusion sets the mood for a darker, powerful and assertive chorus, with the kind of heavy overdriven kick drum twinned with harsh distorted synths that we might expect from a Headhunterz arrangement. Employing Michael  Jo’s dulcet delivery over the abrasive, hard-hitting soundscape, Maddix creates a standout hit fit for any of the burgeoning hardstyle scenes across the globe. Similarly, becoming one of the go-to male vocalists in the electronic world for his instantly recognizable soft, high tone, Michael Jo has featured on tracks for Revealed head honcho Hardwell, and hardstyle driving force Wildstylez, whilst accompanying DJ sets at some of the world’s biggest dance events; Tomorrowland, Defqon. 1 and Qlimax.

With last year’s stunning Hardwell collaboration ‘Bella Ciao’ already clocking in at 26 million streams and counting, Maddix is an artist with stratospheric ambition. Now four years into his Revealed pasture, and with the support of the Top 100 DJ Polls’ #3 artist behind him, this rising star has proven that the sky’s really not the limit.
